However, isn’t it true that this power to move people in a meaningful way comes in part because there are still only a few voices using social media, and that as the number of voices increases this will dilute the power and reach of each individual voice?
So perhaps these success stories you’ve listed are just peculiar to this early period in social media, and that the noise will soon drown out the signal?
