Tax money well spent
Typical! Now that more and more people have 3G (with 4G around the corner) modems, personal hot spots, tethering, and even netbooks with built-in 3G; and given that city Wi-Fi has been a disaster everywhere it’s been tried it’s great to see the bureaucrats of the city of London jumping on the wi-fi bandwagon!
Wi-fi was never meant to cover such large areas! Wimax does that, cellular technology does that, wi-fi does not!
Tax money well spent indeed!
Easily done
All they have to do is hook up a wireless router to every surveillance camera. Problem solved. 🙂
