The Canadian Internet Registration Authority, which manages the dot-ca domain, is holding its annual board election until September 28th. This year there are four spots up for grabs – three from candidates nominated by the nominating committee and one from the membership nominated field.  There are some great candidates including Bill St. Arnaud on the nominating committee side and Kevin McArthur, Marita Moll, and Tom Williams on the membership nominated side. All would help to ensure that CIRA’s public interest mandate becomes an important factor in the decision-making process.  If you’re a CIRA member, be sure to vote.
