    Agreed. What we see now in defending the internet itself, in 5 years or so time will enable it to be a vehicle for other larger social issues and action of the people against the controlling elite.

    This was at its core not a debate about piracy, copyright and the mythical lost $58 billion. Rather, it was about the public once again having a collective voice that matters, that can rise above the influence of silk ties and laundered graft … a return to democracy, for the people, by the people.
