DFAIT has posted the draft agenda for the November ACTA meeting in Seoul, Korea. Internet and criminal enforcement are the lead issues for the three-day meeting.

I hope there will be a huge public backlash once this ever gets anywhere near becoming a signed treaty.
Turning millions of ordinary law-abiding citizens into criminals is simply out of touch with reality and I hope someone high up realizes this.

The organizers have tried to placate those of us demanding greater transparency in the process, by including the issue of transparency in the official agenda. Unfortunately, it is so far down the priority list that they will only get to it if they run out of things to talk about regarding the Internet and Criminal Enforcement during the first two days. I can't wait to see how that turns out.
