ACTA Round of Talks Concludes: Next Meeting in U.S.

PDF  | Print |  E-mail
Friday July 02, 2010
The ninth round of ACTA talks concluded yesterday in Lucerne, Switzerland.  The usual statement followed the talks with confirmation that talks focused on the main IP enforcement issues.  The statement denied that ACTA will have an impact on medicines shipments and personal border searches.  The next round of talks will be held in the U.S., though date and specific location were not disclosed.  There was also no mention on whether the latest ACTA draft would be disclosed.

I'm sure the RIAA or MPAA would be happy to let them meet in their offices.
