From “Radical Extremism” to “Balanced Copyright”: Canadian Copyright and the Digital Agenda
Irwin Law has just posted the introduction to From “Radical Extremism” to “Balanced Copyright”: Canadian Copyright and the Digital Agenda, the new book on Canadian copyright reform that focuses specifically on Bill C-32.  The book launches next week and will be available in both paper and as a Creative Commons licenced download.

The introduction, which is openly available now in PDF format, explains the origins of the book and includes a brief summary of each article.  The book features five sections – context, technology, creativity, education, and access.  The full table of contents can be found here.  A reminder that we’re planning a great launch event on October 14th, including a panel on Bill C-32 that includes Ian Kerr, Blayne Haggart, Elizabeth Judge, David Lametti, and Teresa Scassa.

  1. An excellent and comprehensive introduction to the book. I look forward to reading a broader range of views on this very important subject. Appreciation to all the people who put so much effort into this over the Summer.

and the table of contents link redirects to the sale page
