The Bloc picked up on the Bernier-net neutrality coverage, raising the issue with the Minister during question period. Adopting a method reminiscent of CRIA's mistaking polls for policy, Bernier responded by arguing that polling data suggests that the public supports its position on telecommunications deregulation.

It is most troubling to learn that Bernier is not supporting Net Neutrality. Do NOT let the technology companies decide. Make them strategize how to make a profit with Net Neutrality. Without it, it will only be more difficult to create new products/services that work well. It’s technically easier as well. So don’t let the telco’s invest money to make things more convuluted than it already is.
