I’m very happy to see that somebody is trying to get the government to do something about spam. But I’m not holding my breath. Look at the fine job they’re doing managing Toronto’s traffic situation, for example. Stuff in a new pile of condos? Sure! Great idea. Address the fact that it’s on an already overcrowded street, so people can actually get in and out of the area? Huh? Why would we do that? Duhhh.
They can’t even run a prosperous country without accumulating a massive debt. I bet they’ll wait until spam grinds business to a halt, notice it when tax money stops coming in, and then concoct a useless but expensive solution, and expect to pay for it with, uh, tax money…
