The government is using balancedcopyright.gc.ca as the domain name for its site devoted to Bill C-32. Someone forgot to register the actual balancedcopyright.ca domain, however, which was quickly grabbed by the Pirate Party of Canada, which is now a registered political party.

The Toronto Sun reports that Pirate Party of Canada has received official party status.
The German Pirate Party enjoyed unprecedented success in national elections this past weekend. The party won two percent of the vote and, more notably, garnered 13 percent of first-time male voters.
