Great post, Michael. As a fairly recent grad, I can attest to the fact that students are generally not politically apathetic, but for a large part frustrated by feeling ignored by their political leaders until that magical time every few years when they become important and tuition promises abound. I strongly believe this could be The issue to capture student attention and I am confident that awareness of the topic will help generate movement (and votes) in the right direction.
