The Supreme Court of Canada today announced that it will rehear the Robertson v. Thompson Corp. copyright arguments by reviewing the transcripts and videotape. The case was heard by the court in December 2005, before Justice Rothstein joined the court.

i haven’t read the oca case – but I wonder if this case is going to be viewed as similar to a database type case. since it would seem that the globe is seeking to claim the newspaper as a a electrontic newspaper archive (ie: database).
