Smart idea: online adds search, paper retains portability
O’Reilly ended up selling more copies of “Using Samba” (my only book to date, alas) after they made it widely available electronically. Professional printing on really thin paper inside a sturdy cover, it turns out, is worth cash money to readers who already have it electronically.
