French-speaking Media
There is a real need for this meeting. I, living in Montreal, have seen little coverage of Bill C-61 in French-speaking Media. Yet every time I explain the time-shifting and digital lock part of the legislation, everyone looks at me funny and say: \”They didn\’t mentioned that in the News story…\”
I can\’t even find any reference about the digital lock on the entire Radio-Canada Website(except in comments).
So this Montreal meeting is VERY important in my opinion.
Good show Montreal. Hopefully it will segué into media coverage (in both languages) in Quebec and also inspire other local meet-ups and organizing.
