The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada has released its finding on a case stemming from an article in Maclean’s Magazine alleging that the magazine had been able to purchase the telephone records of Privacy Commissioner Jennifer Stoddart and a senior Maclean’s editor from US-based data broker Locatecell.com.
