What about the bar
Already I’ve seen bouncers “swipe” driver’s licenses here, and I’ve actually called them out on PIPEDA, and that they need to disclose when they are recording your information otherwise what they are doing is illegal. They seem to think that they are in *full right* to be collecting people’s information off of their driver’s license, and not telling them.
It’s not a far stretch to imagine a RFID detector when you remove your ID to show the bouncer. Think they’ll give you the option of having your data collected?
I’m surprised this issue received so little attention.
It seems more and more of our policies are being pushed on us by the US. What happened to our sovereignty?
