It would still afford protection to content creators and publishers, especially against the “large scale” infringement that Ministers Moore and Clement say are the targets of Copyright Reform.

This only says one thing to me, Moore and Clement think all Canadians are large scale infringer’s other wise this they wouldn’t be holding on to this as if it were their and the content distributors baby hanging off a cliff.
What’s really mind boggling is DRM doesn’t work unless the whole game is on the server and then there’s no need for DRM. Ohhh I forgot DRM is there to stop in game cheaters LOL

I’ve heard that while the single-player mode requires no specific on-line content, a persistent Internet connection will be required in order to validate against their DRM server every time the game starts. We should take a raffle to see how long it takes for a crack to surface. My bets are with 24 hours. As long as I purchase the game in the first place, why should they care if I crack it so can I store the disks to protect them from my kids?
This is why I buy everything from Steam. While it has it’s limitations, I respect them and it’s certainly is better than any of the other options out there. It’s often even less restrictive than if I purchase the physical disks, in many cases.
