The nice thing about standards…
is that there are so many to choose from. Don’t take this comment as I am disagreeing with the resolution; in fact I support it. However, there are at least two competing “open” office data standards, ODF (OpenDocument format, ISO/IEC 26300:2006) and OOXML (Office Open XML, ECMA-376, ISO/IEC 29500:2008, Microsoft owned).

Hey, very nice site. I came across this on Google, and I am stoked that I did. I will definately be coming back here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation and bring a bit more to the table, but am just taking in as much info as I can at the moment.
