RCMP Arrest Five Men For Pirated DVD Sales

The Toronto Star reports that the RCMP have arrested five men in connection with pirated DVD sales in the notorious Pacific Mall.  Each face the possibility of jail time or up to a million dollars in liability.

Lofgren “Very Nervous” About ACTA

The National Journal reports that Congresswomen Zoe Lofgren has expressed her concern about ACTA.  Lofgren told a crowd of high-tech executives that the six-page outline of ACTA leaves her very nervous, particularly the prospect of moving toward a three-strikes approach for ISPs.
