The Toronto Star reports that the RCMP have arrested five men in connection with pirated DVD sales in the notorious Pacific Mall. Each face the possibility of jail time or up to a million dollars in liability.

Lofgren “Very Nervous” About ACTA
The National Journal reports that Congresswomen Zoe Lofgren has expressed her concern about ACTA. Lofgren told a crowd of high-tech executives that the six-page outline of ACTA leaves her very nervous, particularly the prospect of moving toward a three-strikes approach for ISPs.
EFF and PK Call For Greater ACTA Transparency
The EFF and Public Knowledge have again expressed their concern over the lack of U.S. transparency over ACTA. The USTR released only 36 more pages (here and here), withholding over 1,000 other relevant documents.
Better Late Than Never
The Department of Foreign Affairs has sent requests to people who submitted comments on the first ACTA consultation to ask their permission to post their comments online. I previously posted the summary of those comments obtained under ATIP.
