Selection Criteria
I see *I* qualify under one of the criteria:
The successful candidate must be a Canadian citizen under the terms of the Citizenship Act, or a permanent resident as defined in the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act;

They could save a lot of money in salary by just getting rid of the position all together. Make all the really big decisions by flipping a coin instead. They’d only make the right decision half the time, but that would be a magnitude improvement over the incumbent.

New CRTC Chair
I think Harper is only concerned if the chair can speak English.
