NY Times on ACTA

The New York Times has a feature story on ACTA today that includes comments from an EU official rejecting a single solution to Internet issues as well as comments from a Swedish official calling for the release of the draft text.

  1. I love the start of this story.
“Negotiators, under intense pressure from media companies, luxury brands and other corporate victims of piracy, are scrambling to complete a so-called Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement by the end of the year.”

Shouldn’t they be under intense pressure for the governments to who they supposedly report and supposedly work for rather than the media companies?

  2. Captain Hook says:

Indeed they are. But have you asked yourself who it is their governments work for?

So you see. It is all really the same in the end.
