McGill's Richard Gold has an op-ed in today's Globe and Mail lamenting Kraft's decision to restart copyright litigation against EuroExcellence over the importation of chocolate. Gold notes that "this is exactly the kind of misuse of the law that judges say is undermining the public's respect for the justice system."
Update: Gold has posted a non-paywall version.
The Globe and Mail says I can read the article, but must sign up for subscription. I need to get over my feeling I should have access to the article, without paying. Oh, well, once the corporate thugs get control of the Internet, they’ll make sure I understand they own what I see or read, and I’ll need to pay for a ticket. Now, why do I believe that? 🙂
Happy Holidays, Tom
