Days ahead of the release of the USTR Special 301 report that will undoubtedly criticize Canada over its intellectual property laws, Trade Minister Stockwell Day met in Washington with the head of the USTR, Ron Kirk. A USTR release on the meeting confirms that IP issues was one of the key issues discussed.
